This Emergency 911 (E911) Disclaimer applies to voice, VoIP, cloud communications, and related services provided by Rhino I.T., a trade name (DBA) of FGCO Holdings LLC (“Rhino I.T.”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).

Please read carefully.

Emergency calling capabilities available through internet-based or VoIP communications services may differ significantly from traditional telephone services.


1. Service Limitations

Emergency calling services may be unavailable, interrupted, delayed, or inaccurate due to:

  • Internet outages
  • Power failures
  • Equipment failures
  • Network congestion
  • Service interruptions
  • Configuration errors
  • Third-party provider outages
  • Geographic limitations
  • Account misconfiguration

Emergency communications depend upon functioning internet connectivity, compatible equipment, and properly configured services.


2. Registered Address Requirements

Certain emergency calling services rely on the registered service address associated with a telephone number or device.

Customers are responsible for ensuring emergency address information remains:

  • Accurate
  • Current
  • Complete

Failure to maintain current address information may result in emergency responders being dispatched to an incorrect location.


3. Location Accuracy

Emergency responders may receive:

  • Delayed location information
  • Inaccurate location information
  • No location information

 

Mobile, remote, softphone, and internet-based services may not reliably provide physical location data.


4. Service Interruptions & Power Dependency

Unlike traditional landlines, VoIP and cloud communication systems may not operate during:

  • Power outages
  • Internet outages
  • Equipment failures

 

Customers should maintain alternative methods for contacting emergency services where appropriate.

Examples may include:

  • Mobile phones
  • Traditional landlines
  • Redundant communications systems

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Maintaining accurate emergency address records
  • Testing services where permitted
  • Ensuring users understand service limitations
  • Implementing backup communication methods when necessary

6. No Guarantee of Emergency Service Availability

Rhino I.T. does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy, routing, or successful completion of emergency communications.

Emergency communications rely upon multiple third-party providers and infrastructure beyond Rhino I.T.’s control.


7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rhino I.T. shall not be liable for damages, losses, injuries, or claims arising from:

  • Failure of emergency communications
  • Delayed emergency response
  • Incorrect routing
  • Incorrect address information
  • Third-party service failures
  • Customer configuration issues

This limitation applies except where prohibited by applicable law.


8. Additional Provider Terms

Certain communications services may be subject to additional emergency calling terms imposed by underlying providers or carriers.

Customers may be required to review and accept those terms separately.


9. Changes to This Notice

Rhino I.T. may update this E911 Disclaimer periodically.

Updates become effective upon publication.

Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
